The 5th All-Russian Ecological Forum “Ecosystem. Protected Area” of the Rosmolodezh platform finished in Kamchatka. The large-scale event brought together more than 300 participants from all over the country, who worked for several days to solve real environmental problems in three key areas: eco-education, eco-technologies and ecotourism.
“The Clean Line” Eco-educational Marathon, organized by PJSC “Federal Hydrogenating Company – RusHydro”, took a special place in the Forum program. The V.I. Vernadsky Foundation was represented by one of its scholarship holder Alina Khramova. Alina worked on creating a lesson plan on the environmental aspects of hydrogen energy. Following the results of the competition Alina Khramova deservedly took a win and her marathon project would be finalized together with the methodologists of the “RusHydro” Group and would later become part of the educational program of the Ecosystem center.
Together, the participants developed projects aimed at preserving the unique ecosystem of Khalaktyrsky Beach, and also generated “Smart Beach” and “Ecospecnaz” (Environmental Speacial Forces) initiatives that have high scaling potential and can be successfully implemented in many regions of Russia.
