First Ecological Camp of PJSC Gazprom


The first Environmental Camp of PJSC Gazprom has ended. Teams from 25 subsidiaries, formed based on the results of qualifying rounds, took part in it. The age of the participants is 15–17 years.

Throughout the shift, the guys worked on the topics they received on the first day at the draw. The final stage was the defense of projects that address current environmental issues.

Based on the results, the jury determined the best projects.

1st place - “The importance of protected areas” (Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk LLC). The guys explored the topic by analyzing the protected areas of Ugra. Based on the results of the work, the team came to the conclusion that the creation of ecological trails in protected areas will help preserve and conserve the flora and fauna of the reserves.

2nd place - “Second life of waste” (Gazprom Pererabotka LLC). The guys were concerned about the problem of a large amount of food waste. Once processed, they can become excellent biofuels.

2nd place - “Formation of an environmental culture” (Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg LLC). The team proposed a set of activities aimed at developing the environmental culture of people of different ages. I prepared a playful, humorous video about eco-habits and promotional materials under the general slogan “Clean around me - clean all over the world!”

III place - “New life for food plastic” (Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol LLC). The team was remembered for its bright, creative performance, in which the guys showed the enormous possibilities for creating a variety of products from recycled food plastic.

III place - “Environmental problem of unconscious consumption and disposal of unnecessary things”
(Gazprom Design LLC). In their presentation, the team raised the important topic of consumption and oversaturation. By studying the problem, the guys proved that in ordinary life we ​​need much fewer things. The bright end of the speech was the presentation of the concept of the computer game “Mark Veshchichkin’s Clean Life,” which teaches reasonable consumption from early childhood.

III place - “The concept of waste-free production: validity and viability” (Gazprom Transgaz Makhachkala LLC). The guys made the following conclusion: with the unity of interests of government bodies, business and the population, it is possible to solve any environmental problem. And the bright creative presentation of the native land was a good addition.

The team from Gazprom Transgaz Ekaterinburg LLC was awarded a special prize. The guys considered the topic “The Ozone Layer: False and True Problems.” The jury members noted the creative approach to the presentation of a complex topic - the team compared the ozone layer with the warm blanket of the Earth.

Alikhan Alikhanov (Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy LLC) was awarded a special prize. He took part in an expedition, where he observed birds for several days, and this is what prompted him to choose the profession of ornithologist.

Ekaterina Chernykh (Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar LLC) was awarded a special prize for a serious approach to work and in-depth study of the issue: “The knowledge gained in the Ecocamp helped me find answers to questions on the topic “World Mineral Resources,” which we chose in a draw. And I want to continue studying this complex issue.”
